SaferSex Standards Program™

Safer Play Spaces™

A visible standard for consent-forward adult lifestyle venues, events, and community spaces.

Safer Play Spaces™ helps clubs, event producers, educators, venues, retreats, festivals, and sex-positive community spaces show that safer experiences are not just a promise. They are supported by clear expectations, safer-sex awareness, reporting pathways, privacy, inclusion, and accountability.

“Safer” is more than a vague promise.

Many adult lifestyle and sex-positive spaces describe themselves as safe, respectful, or consent-based. The gap is that guests, members, staff, and organizers often have no easy way to understand what those words actually mean in practice.

Safer Play Spaces™ creates a uniform standard with visibility for organizations that want safer guest experiences, clear communication, concise reporting, safer-sex awareness, and more accountability.

What the Standard Supports

Clear. Concise. Aware.

Clear Expectations

Guests should what to expect and know where to find information.

Concise Reporting

People need a visible, understandable way to raise concerns when something happens.

Awareness

Spaces should make safer-sex resources, education readily available.

Baseline Standards

The 5 baseline standards

To be considered a Safer Play Space™, an organization must adopt these minimum standards.

  1. Written Consent & Conduct Policy
  2. Guest-Facing Rules & Orientation
  3. Safer-Sex Supplies or Resource Access
  4. Reporting & Response Process
  5. Privacy, Inclusion & Accountability Commitment
