Britain’s oldest dominatrix has revealed how she got started in the industry – but claims shouldn't be considered a sex worker despite the services she offers her unusual clients.
Sherry Lever, 70, had a job as a cook before getting her hands dirty in a very different manner, when she started offering her services to dominate willing men.
The pensioner appeared on Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over recently, where she left the Strictly Come Dancing star speechless after brutally whipping a man in front of her.
And, sharing more her unique tale with Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on ITV’s This Morning, Sherry admitted that people often have misconceptions about her lifestyle.

“I hadn’t planned it. After my divorce I was left financially embarrassed so I knew I had to earn extra money,” she explained, describing how she had stumbled into becoming a dominatrix.
And, after watching a documentary about women who worked on sex chat phone lines, Sherry decided that she could also try her hand at adult work.
Initially, the dominatrix recalled, she’d had a few mishaps, report Daily Star
She noted: “I had one guy in the beginning who actually said he’s really into water sports, so I said, ‘I’ve done a bit of jet skiing’, and he put the phone down.”
Still, Sherry quickly learned the tricks of the trade, and soon branched out to working as her alter-ego dominatrix Sofia, with sessions taking place in her conservatory “playroom”.
And despite her career, Sherry emphasized her desire not to be referred to as a sex worker.
“Absolutely not. Unfortunately we’re in a grey area, they don’t know where to put us so we are actually classed as sex workers, and to the vanilla population, that automatically means we have sex,” she explained.
“So I am on a mission for people to understand, we do not. It’s about domination.”

Sherry did admit that for some of her so-called “slaves”, there is often an element of sexual gratification from their sessions with her – but she stressed that she never has sex with her clients.
“They don’t touch me, I don’t touch them sexually,” she said.
In fact, Shelly revealed that she has a whole variety of servants, with one even driving her to the ITV studios for her interview that morning.
“I have a lifestyle slave. He doesn’t pay, he just is at my beck and call, so he does all my painting, my DIY, fixing a toilet see… whatever I need doing, he does it,” she added.
And, Sherry defended her position against criticism that she might be helping some of these men to cheat on their partners.
“There’s no sex, I’m not going to touch them,” she said.
“Unfortunately, a lot who come to me, they don’t want to have that sort of kink with their partner, they want to keep the two separate.
“Their partner wouldn’t be happy if they saw the submissive side to them, whereas to me it’s normal.”
