SHARE DENVER- A Non-Monogamy Ball!

Tracks Nightclub is hosting SHARE – A Non-Monogamy Ball, this June for those who are curious about the world of ethical non-monogamy as well as those who are actively engaged in the lifestyle. This SHARE event features Denver’s largest and most diverse celebration of non-monogamy with a full takeover of Tracks and The Lounge.

Ethical Non-Monogamy Awareness

During a recent interview with OFM, the organizers behind SHARE stressed the importance of offering awareness about ethical non-monogamy as a valid option while providing a safe space for patrons to explore their curiosities. The event is optimized to augment, educate, and entertain those who are new to the lifestyle while providing plenty for those who are actively practicing non-monogamy. Not to go understated, the people behind SHARE hope to assist others in the process of de-programming shame as it exists in relation to sexuality.

“I think there is a new age and generation that is craving to learn more about the rest of the world. I think it is cool we have the power now to normalize sexuality,” says Michael ‘Rufio’ Jimenez, founder of RU Entertainment, who is one of the organizers behind SHARE.

In line with their expressed intent for creating a safe space for ethical non-monogamists to gather, SHARE has an outlined list of ground rules posted to their events page. The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF), an organization that specializes in creating safer spaces for sex-positive communities, assisted in the establishment of these rules.

What to Expect at the Event

“We want this to be a safe space for all non-monogamy communities,” says Sante Suffoletta of Menage Life, another SHARE producer. “This is a place where, if you’re interested in learning more about non-monogamy, you can come here and do that. You’re going to get to dance, have a great time. There’s going to be karaoke, lots of cool stuff going on. We hope that the environment will be more attractive to people who are curious.”

There is no applied pressure for anyone in attendance to engage in any activities that are outside their comfort level. No intimate acts nor nudity are allowed at the venue or on venue grounds. The organizers behind the event have also arranged a hotel block at Catbird Hotel.

“If you’re a couple that’s going and just testing the waters, figure out what your boundaries are and how open you are or how you want to approach certain situations,” advises AJ Foxx of Sobremesa Creative Solutions, co-organizer of Share. “The really great thing about this event is that there’s no pressure. It’s really about the mingling… the connection… the ambiance.”
